Carlos Quevedo Rojas (Prado del Rey, Cádiz, 1980), graduated from the E.T.S. Arquitectura of Seville, Master´s Degree in Architecture and Historical Heritage (Seville), Specialization in Monuments Restoration from University "La Sapienza" Rome, Master´s Degree "Art History: Investigation and Guardianship of the Heritage" from University of Granada and International Doctor PhD in Architecture Curriculum Internacional Villard de Honnecourt (Universities of Seville and IUAV of Venice).

With Carquero Arquitectrura, his works and projects have been published in international magazines, exposed in several international exhibitions and received several awards and distinctions in Spain, USA, United Kingdom, Italy, Germany, Greece, Poland, Belarus and Azerbaijan, highlighting the Leonardo Award, nominated for the Mies van der Rohe or selected for the Ibero-American Architecture and Urbanism Biennial. In 2019 he became the winner of the 40under40 Awards, organized by the Chicago Athenaeum and The Europan Centre as one of the best young European architects.

He has been professor invitor at Universidad de Sevilla, Universitá IUAV di Venezia, U. Olavide, Universitá di Camerino, U. Rey Juan Carlos, Univ. de la República de Uruguay, Oxford Brookes School of Architecture and Politecnico di Milano. He has lectured at international conferences and seminars and published in indexed specialized journals. His research works has been awarded like the Urban Planing National Prize “R. Santos” and “Pablo de Olavide” Essay Award. He has realized several doctoral stays in Venice, Lima, Delft o Paris and has won some fellowships. He is co-director of the School of Art and Design of Cadiz and professor collaborator with Universidad de Sevilla, being in the same researcher in the HUM-1050 investigation group and collaborates with Universidad Nacional de Ingeniería de Perú. He has participated as jury in architecture competitions and awards.
