Received his M. Arch. Degree from Yale University in 1999 and his B. Arch. Degree from Tsinghua University in 1994. He worked as an architect in New York until 2002. In 2003, He returned to China and established Universal Architecture Studio (UAS) in Beijing. Since 2004, he has taught at the Central Academy of Fine Arts and been a visiting critic at Tsinghua University. In 2009, he established TAO. Mr. Li Hua's design works and interviews have been published by Area, A+U, domus, T+A and WA.
