Since founding Mossessian Architecture in 2005 to pursue and develop his highly individual approach to design, Michel Mossessian has successfully designed and delivered architecturally innovative schemes in the UK and internationally including Morocco, China, Qatar, and France.
Consistently at the forefront of new approaches, Michel believes in design that creates engaging spaces to work, live and play. Michel leads the design team from the London offices of Mossessian Architecture using his ‘Black Box’ design methodology. This identifies the needs and aspirations to guide the design process, so that all interventions resonate with the culture and values of the specifics to their context, climate and end users.
His interest in creative processes extends well beyond the practice of architecture: He has lectured widely at schools of architecture and cultural institutions and continues to promote innovative approaches to design and cultural understanding at international conferences. Michel is a visiting professor at London Imperial College where he lectures on how architecture affects wellbeing.
Mossessian Architecture has live cultural and commercial projects in the UK, Saudi Arabia, Armenia and Kuwait.
