Ronchi Villa

The restoration intervention of Villa Ceragioli in Ronchi is aligned with the original project by architects Aldo Rossi and Leonardo Ferrari, aiming to bring to light the distinctive features of this iconic building. The intervention focuses on some of the key elements of the villa, such as the large corner windows and the finishes on the façades, a delicate and attentive project that seeks to faithfully reproduce the original design of these elements. With the goal of making the villa known, the first work of the famous Pritzker Prize winner, an open house installation has also been created to reveal the compositional and theoretical principles underlying the original project. In this spatial reinterpretation, the use of logs from a fallen pine tree serves as the means of interaction between the villa and the surrounding pine forest.
