Middle Park House | Annie Mac. Interior Architecture

In a picturesque suburb of Melbourne, the Middle Park House stands as a testament to the transformative power of intelligent interior design. This once confused and disconnected floorplan of this double story home has been reborn into a seamless fusion of form and function. By rethinking the layout of the ground floor, the space has been liberated from the constraints of its former self - where multiple renovation by it's previous owners over the last few decades had destroyed any sense of flow & spatial connection. The clients engaged Annie as their Interior Architect to revise the ground floor, and provide a modern overhaul to the home.
The entrance now flows effortlessly into a combined kitchen, living, and dining area, where a beautifully curved archway replaces the dated timber staircase. The clever relocation of the family bathroom to the former dining space, discreetly hidden behind sleek hallway cupboards, has created a haven of serenity. Additional storage and a euro-laundry tucked within the cabinetry further enhances the functionality of the space. The result is a masterclass in minimalist design, where clean lines, soft natural lighting, and a curated and tonal colour palette come together to create a tranquil yet functional living space.
