In the heart of Milan, on Via Cadore, lies Piccola Dimora Cadore, a two-room apartment that embodies the perfect balance between elegance and functionality. This space, designed by architect Jacopo Bonini of AB Studio Architettura, was conceived for a young professional in her thirties, passionate about real estate, art, design, and, of course, architecture.

The home reflects the character of its owner: dynamic, sophisticated, and in love with beauty in all its forms. With just 70 square meters, Dimora Cadore is a celebration of smart design and extreme personalization, where every detail tells a story of stylistic research and functionality.

A Show-Stealing Powder Room

The true gem of this apartment is the spectacular powder room, a space that immediately captures attention. Clad in ribbed tiles, the bathroom’s surfaces are entirely box-painted in a glossy enamel of a vibrant, enveloping carmine red, creating a uniquely dramatic effect.

This space is not just functional but also a visual and tactile experience: the three-dimensional texture plays with light, creating dynamic, intense reflections that amplify the perception of the room. A bold choice that highlights the owner’s love for impactful design and her desire to own a space that speaks of her strong and creative personality.

Spaces Designed to Live and Inspire

The rest of the home is crafted with equally sophisticated attention to detail: clean lines, custom furniture, and a color palette carefully curated to enhance the natural brightness of the rooms. The fluid and functional spaces are the result of meticulous planning that leaves nothing to chance.

The living area features an open-plan layout with a minimalist touch, enriched with artworks and design objects that reflect the owner’s eclectic taste. Meanwhile, the bedroom is an oasis of calm, with soft textures and neutral tones inviting relaxation.

A Lifestyle Rooted in Art and Design

Piccola Dimora Cadore is more than just a house; it’s a statement of style and a tribute to the owner’s passion for contemporary art and architecture. Every design choice reflects the vision of a woman seeking to balance the efficiency of urban living with the beauty of a bespoke retreat.

The Future of Personalized Design

With this project, architect Jacopo Bonini reaffirms his ability to create spaces that resonate with the lives of those who inhabit them, seamlessly blending aesthetics and practicality. The red powder room and the entire concept of the apartment represent a design manifesto that transcends conventions, making even small spaces the stars of the show.

Piccola Dimora Cadore is more than an apartment: it’s a journey through design, a tribute to creativity, and a passion for beauty, intended to inspire anyone with a visionary and contemporary spirit.
