The project seeks to recover the original materials and the authentic essence of the house.

RESTORATION
To rescue the original materials found in the building, which over time had been stripped of their original conditions: eucalyptus wood flooring, brick on the facade, metal window grills and garden spaces on the exterior.
Facade elements that make up the original architectural idea, wood frames and concrete counterframes, colored wall panels and stone on the facade.

REMODELING
Kitchens and bathrooms suffered several mutations over time, the remodeling of these spaces seeks to retake the original character of the house.

THE PROPOSAL
The choice of a range of greens for the woodwork and trim elements is an excellent way to honor the aesthetics of the neighborhood. In addition, the use of neutral tones for the facades and white in the interior helps to create a fresh and modern ambiance.

Return to the original in the bathrooms and kitchens, using simple furnishings with wood details. The recovery of terrazzo, a traditional technique used in Quito, is a very special touch that surely brings character and authenticity to these spaces.

The restoration of the original eucalyptus wood floor and the choice of materials such as shingles allow to maintain coherence in the design and the proposal.
In the exteriors, the recovery of the gardens with a specific landscape design according to the location, sunlight and general conditions of the house, is the complement for the integral rehabilitation of Casa Solier.
