Months after the work was completed, we walk through the inhabited house for the last time. We return to wander through the circulation ring around the inner courtyard, to enjoy the impressive views of the sea and the mountains, the carefully thought out and executed carpentry details.

Everything in the house fits together naturally, as if it could only be this way and not any other way: the skin that envelops the private spaces, that integrates the passage doors and storage, the architectural lighting that accompanies the spaces, the natural oak flooring that humanises the whole... It is a very special moment, to see the result of our work, to see that it has been worth the time and effort invested.

We are surprised by the clients' respect for the project because, even though they are living in it, they have not modified the spaces at all. There are hardly any pictures on the walls, nor excessive decorative elements. They have understood, as we did, that there is no better decoration than landscape and architecture.

A certain feeling of melancholy invades us when we think that it no longer belongs to us, that our creation has ceased to be a project and has become a home. It reassures us to know that it is in good hands.
