Stellar Beauty Salon in Riyadh redefines the spatial narrative of beauty and self-care through a sculptural and experiential design approach. Conceived by ark4lab of architecture, the project is a contemporary interpretation of celestial geometry—where spatial fluidity, material softness, and ambient lighting converge to create a unique environment of calm elegance.

The design concept draws inspiration from cosmic forms and the movement of light, establishing an immersive interior landscape. Soft, curved walls and cylindrical volumes shape the space into an organic flow, while architectural elements like circular skylights and radial chandeliers reinforce the salon’s planetary theme. The use of tactile, muted-toned materials—ranging from polished plaster surfaces to plush seating—enhances the sense of intimacy and warmth.

At the core of the salon is a carefully choreographed lighting design. Integrated linear lights trace paths across the floor and ceilings, echoing orbital lines and guiding visitors through the space. Sculptural light fixtures—resembling planetary orbs—punctuate the interiors with both visual intrigue and functional illumination.

The program includes reception areas, lounge zones, and treatment spaces, all seamlessly unified under a continuous design language that emphasizes serenity, softness, and sophistication.

With Stellar Beauty Salon, ark4lab continues to explore architecture as a sensorial experience, transforming commercial interiors into poetic and immersive environments.
