Space serves as a vessel of nature, where structural and natural elements intertwine to evoke a poetic imagery of forests and mountains. In this project, Bobo Chen, founder of LubanEra·Design, refined brand strategy through exploring fashion’s role within diverse urban contexts while examining its intrinsic composition. The result is a thoughtfully curated fashion showroom and office space, orchestrated with a balance of scale, order, and versatility. The design deeply explores communication strategies and consumers’ psychology, cultivating a profound spiritual resonance between the brand and its audience—transforming consumers into a core driving force behind the brand’s evolution.

Balance is the foundation of the overall spatial design, allowing products to breathe in sync with nature’s rhythm. Here, space transcends its physical boundaries, becoming an artistic expression. In this tranquil setting, every object resembles a verse of poetry, while form serves as a silent guide, subtly shaping the interplay between interior and exterior. As customers move, their footsteps dissolve into the rhythm of the space. Textures breathe, visual rhythms flow, and sensory perceptions converge—not simply as design elements, but as a meditative exploration of materiality and a profound interpretation of modern aesthetics.

Where nature lingers and tranquility endures, space stays serene, secluded from the clamor of the world.

Time is the measure of all things and the underlying principle of architecture. Within its flow, the space comes alive with natural elements—light, wood, and stone—bringing their vitality to life. Time serves as a central motif in the spatial narrative, shaping function, form, and atmosphere. Variations in zoning and usage patterns reshape architectural purpose. From the visitors’ perspective, space unfolds with layered meaning, with shifting perceptions and artistic expressions emerging in different moments.

The Land of Stones, the Realm of Emptiness

Natural stone, with its quiet gravity, merges with the vibrant pulse of nature. Its weathered texture whispers the poetry of time, subtly interacting with space. A delicate interplay unfolds as lush greenery softens the air, its veins unraveling the quiet stillness. The spatial composition interlaces circulation paths, weaving a narrative of time and destiny, bold yet graceful. Seamlessly blending functionality and artistry, this is more than a brand showcase; it is a sanctuary where commerce and humanism coexist in harmony.

A “Four Seasons” Narrative

The showroom is organized around the brand’s seasonal collections—Spring, Summer, Autumn, and Winter—forming four distinct zones. Geometric structures, shaped by nested and angular compositions, create a dynamic, multidimensional visual experience. The fusion of tradition and modernity breathes fluid rhythm and rich depth into the space. Stepping inside, visitors feel the seasons shifting, as every glance and touch evoke the serene passage of time. Balancing density and openness, the design creates a captivating interplay between reality and illusion.

The Interplay of Light and Darkness, The Reconstruction of Time and Space

Cool light tears through the heavy darkness like the first breath of spring dawn, wakening geometric order in the interplay of light and darkness. Space fractures like a split in consciousness, where sharp lines cut through the chaos. Fragments of light and shadow disassemble and reconfigure, reconstructing new dimensions of time and space. Material textures breathe between reality and illusion; metal and stone collide in a poetic, stark contrast. Light and darkness engage in fierce interplay, yet find a delicate symbiosis. Artistic glass diffuses light into flowing spectra, while shadow lingers upon suspended geometric volumes—their ascending trajectories mirror the tangible leap of thought.

Summer Solstice

When space returns to its material essence, it transforms into a resonant connection between products and customers, deepening trust between buyers and the space. The dynamic balance of volume, function, and spatial perception redefines the logic of spatial growth. As the sight line shifts with light and shadow, the view varies at every step, evoking the classic Canglang Pavilion. A seven-meter-long stone display table anchors the space, serving as the hub for meetings and order negotiations between buyers and the brand. Light sources and dynamic screen imagery interact, weaving a dialogue of summer light and shadow. This symphony of light and shadow captures the vitality of midsummer, balancing the rigor of commercial decisions with the energy of creative inspiration.

Autumn Shadow

As dappled shadows sway gently, autumn hues permeate the space. The plants, matured  through seasonal transitions, reveal a blend of gold and green in the shifting light. Dark-toned blocks introduce a grounding presence, while black resin-bound stone, layered like solidified magma, breaks spatial monotony. The design carries the profound calm of Eastern aesthetics, creating a breathable ambiance, where boundaries dissolve in the interplay of solidity and openness.

Winter Chill

Form becomes veins, and blocks form the spatial backbone. Echoing the Fibonacci sequence, modular blocks extend in rhythmic repetition, weaving a multidimensional grid, mirroring winter icicles. As light slices through the layered ceiling grid, the interplay of solid and void reconstructs a visual rhythm, inviting a moment of quiet reflection. This delicate balance becomes a vessel for consumer emotions, fostering a sense of belonging and deepening emotional resonance.

Nirvana Rebirth

Suspended geometric installations float in mid-air, reflecting multi-dimensional thinking. A stream of light and shadow runs through the space, washing away past chaos and present tension. As one steps into this immersive environment, every sense is awakened by the power of design—it’s more than just a spatial transformation, but an inward journey of self-discovery. In this dramatic space, burdened souls find a quiet renewal, a moment of inner rebirth.

Constant Transformation, Living Silence

The space embraces the balance of permanence and change, stillness and vitality. The philosophy of intentional blankness unfolds across a white, pristine canvas, where materials compose a poetic dialogue. Light flows freely through open areas, drawing the sight line toward suspended installations that feel like an endless scroll of art. A striking red boulder, like a meteorite from beyond, floats alone in the minimalist expanse, its earthy red textures revealing geological depth. At the end of the passage, a dark granite pedestal supports a moss-rock landscape—where stone and foliage create a quiet dialogue of warmth and cool stillness. In this interplay of simplicity and intensity, the space invites visitors into a realm of inner reflection.

Time as Ink, Bricks as Script

Nature grows inward with its all-encompassing order. A wall of hollow bricks breathes like a honeycomb, allowing light to filter through and weaving ever-changing grid patterns—becoming tangible visual symbols of time. At the corridor’s end, raw stones stand in silent interaction with the porous brick wall, where light and shadows intertwine in a dialogue across time. Every gap channels the rhythm of light, etching time’s passage into space—a silent symphony of light, material, and coexistence.

Tea Fragrance and Nature

In the vast expanse of time, nothing compares to a quiet moment with tea. Plants unfurl gracefully under angled natural light, casting soft, flickering shadows. A calm, unhurried atmosphere lingers in the air, softening time’s passage into elegant verses. Whether engaged in work or embracing a sunlit pause, the breath of greenery slows time’s flow, creating a moment of quiet renewal.

Perception Reshaped: Between Reality and Illusion

In today’s fragmented digital age, new media platforms stand at the core of online communication. Navigating the boundary between the physical and the virtual, the project creates an immersive commercial livestreaming environment. It breaks the monotony of traditional livestream setups, crafting a dynamic boutique-style space that elevates engagement. Through multi-sensory interaction, it reshapes audience perception and participation, transforming livestreaming into a deeper emotional exchange—where every frame fosters connection and fuels brand growth.

The Encounter of Light and Inspiration

The workspace is divided into three parallel zones, offering both calm solitude and dynamic interaction. Here, every glance is a serene encounter with nature. From dawn to dusk, sunlight flows across the expansive glass windows, while shadows weave shifting patterns through the blinds. Even the air feels infused with the warmth of light. As ideas spark across the whiteboard, reflections linger in the glass curtain walls—a silent witness to the interplay of inspiration and light.

Reinterpreting Nature and Humanism

Luban·Era Design is dedicated to exploring and reinterpreting nature and humanism within commercial spaces, unlocking new possibilities through brand storytelling. By crafting immersive environments that foster emotional engagement, the team transforms spatial warmth into a tangible experience—elevating the brand’s presence as a high-value commercial asset. Geometric forms serve as vessels for multidimensional storytelling, aligning material presence with emotional connection. Every corner becomes a dynamic hub—where commerce and everyday intertwine, evolve, and thrive.
