The hotel, located in the inland area of Valencia province, in the town of Cofrentes, responds to the developers' need to provide more hotel availability adapted to the changing needs of today's users in an inland geographical context, where the offering is limited in this regard. The building consists of a clear volume from which powerful tray-like balconies emerge, topped with a white steel railing that blends with the color of the façade, which also creates a solar filter that reduces the impact of sunlight on the rear façade.

To achieve this, we have articulated the design of the façade under a clear simplicity on two planes, marked by the rigor of the lines of the balconies that protrude from the façade plane, generating two powerful overhangs that form the balconies of each of the rooms and the compositional articulation of the openings in a second, set-back plane.
The design of the façade recalls the whiteness of traditional Mediterranean architecture and the main building of the Spa complex, reminding us of its origins. White is a great ally against rising temperatures and strong solar radiation.

The railing becomes another compositional element, an immobile element that generates constant movement as we move near it, varying the perception of the building through this movement, sometimes generating an opaque pleated element and other times a transparent element that allows us to glimpse the interior of the rooms from a distance or from close up, becoming a protective exterior veil.

The woodwork contrasts sharply with the white of the opaque elements, as if serving as a transition between the transparent and the opaque white wall.

The building's location on a steep hillside necessitated a design that turned this added difficulty into a real asset for the building, improving accessibility and hotel capacity.

The building has an A energy efficiency rating, opting primarily for passive solutions that improve living conditions and energy efficiency. These passive systems include centralized heat recovery systems, as well as centralized air conditioning through a hybrid system combining aerothermal energy and hot water generation. The facilities are integrated into the semi-basement area of the building, allowing the building's roof to be used for multiple purposes and even for commercial use, given the unbeatable views.

Construction solutions that combine durability with simplicity, as well as technical rigor, allowing for less maintenance later on. However, we did not abandon the use of traditional materials that improve breathability and solar reflection, such as lime mortar cladding on the facades.
