Asilo nido | ARCHIPLANSTUDIO

The building stands within the consolidated urban fabric of the small town, characterized by fragmented and uneven built edges that define its urban axes.

The structure is composed of a series of elementary volumes, reminiscent of the traditional rural architecture of the Po Valley.

The entrance is marked by a cone-shaped volume, through which zenithal light filters in, hierarchizing the access point and emphasizing the concept of threshold.

The other gabled volumes house the classrooms and service areas.

Two classrooms establish a relationship with the outside world through large openings facing the courtyard, while the third classroom connects directly with the sky via a large cut in the roof.

The simplicity of the volumes and the use of color contribute to creating a fairytale-like image of the building, aiming to become a magical and adventurous memory of the child’s first school experience.

L'edificio sorge nel tessuto urbano consolidato del piccolo paese, caratterizzato da dei limiti edificati sfrangiati e disomogenei che ne definiscono gli assi urbani.

Il corpo di fabbrica si configura come un insieme di volumi elementari, tipici del paesaggio agrario padano.

L'ingresso è caratterizzato dall'elemento a forma di cono, dal quale penetra una luce zenitale che gerarchizza l'ingresso ed enfatizza il tema della soglia.

Gli altri corpi di fabbrica a due falde contengono rispettivamente le aule e i servizi.

Due aule istituiscono un rapporto col mondo esterno attraverso le grandi aperture che si affacciano sul cortile, mentre la terza aula istituisce un rapporto diretto con il cielo tramite il grande taglio praticato sulla copertura.

La semplicità dei volumi e i colori contribuiscono a definire un'immagine fiabesca dell'edificio, con l'intento di diventare una sorta di ricordo avventuroso e magico della prima esperienza scolastica.
