This harmonious 66 m² apartment is located in Saska Kępa — a district known for its distinctive modernist character, which perfectly comple- ments the building’s contemporary form inspired by the architecture of that era. This architectural context became the starting point for designing a calm, flowing interior that provides its residents with a sense of harmony and relaxation. Originally, the layout included two small west-facing bedrooms, two bathrooms, and an east-facing living room with a kitchenette. Architect Dawid Konieczny completely reimagined the space: the two bedro- oms were replaced by a spacious living room with a kitchenette, now benefiting from long hours of afternoon sunlight thanks to its western exposure. The bathroom was enlarged, and the former living room was transformed into a comfortable bedroom with ample wardrobe space. The interior is defined by natural materials — oak wood flooring, Sandalus quartzite in the kitchen, stained oak cabinetry, off-white wall paint, and a bathroom finished in beige microcement with Silver Roots quartzite. The space features a number of bespoke furniture pieces designed by the architect himself, accompanied by design icons such as the Char- lotte Perriand stool for Cassina, an armchair by Vincent Van Duysen, and a Lumina lamp. The apartment is further enriched by works from emerging artists, including censers by Jan Garncarek, a painting by Agata Hecman, and metal elements crafted by Łukasz Friedrich.
