In our practice, the pavilion is not a closed typology, but an open way of inhabiting the territory. An architecture that does not seek to impose itself, but rather to enable relationships.Somewhere between inside and outside, between the collective and the intimate, the pavilion is always a porous structure—available, adaptable, and in dialogue with its surroundings.

Located within a gated community in Bella Vista, Buenos Aires, this project begins with a fundamental question: how can we imagine a shared space today?

Rather than a building with fixed functions, it is conceived as an open infrastructure—capable of accommodating diverse forms and flexible uses. Instead of responding to a closed program, we proposed a structure that can be redefined over time, shaped by the evolving needs and appropriations of the community in which it is embedded.

Three large inverted beams support a flat slab without secondary beams, allowing for a column-free floor plan. This structural decision not only provides spatial flexibility but also frames the architecture as a platform—available rather than predetermined.

A series of interspersed patios and voids loosen the floor plan, enabling simultaneous uses with varying degrees of intimacy, while filtering light, views, and circulation. The building fragments itself to incorporate the landscape as an active part of the project.

The result is an austere pavilion, stripped of formal rhetoric but defined by a precise logic: to outline edges, foster encounters, and make room for the unexpected.
