After a few years in the city, Empar returns to live in Horta Nord. The remains of the renovated house are left as occasional ornaments that dialogue with contemporary languages and materials, like an accumulation of layers that make up the memory of the home. The colors of the furniture and walls are recovered from the typical tiles of the area, the Macael marble that we find in the old laundry room is expanded to all possible surfaces and the textures of the
concrete structure and the slats are discovered.

As it is a narrow  and long house, we propose an intervention with a triangular kitchen that allows for conversations on three sides, including the neighbor . We generate diagonal visuals and routes that dismantle the tubular vision and make the house a fluid and exciting space.
