Conceived for an art and literature enthusiast couple, the Vaca Brava apartment, located in the heart of Setor Bueno, in Goiânia, reflects an affective and contemporary way of living. The couple sought an apartment that would bring a true atmosphere of home, and the architectural project of the tower signed by Studio Arthur Casas, its first in Goiânia, materialized exactly that atmosphere. With 808m², the property opens panoramically to the entire Vaca Brava park and the city, providing a privileged view of the sunset that, when revealed, transforms the experience of the space into something magical. With an extensive and complete leisure area parallel to the park, the apartment is defined as a true "suspended house". Pool, gym, gourmet veranda, outdoor and indoor living spaces become spaces for contemplating a unique view. The textures and natural materials used in the project masterfully compose a backdrop for the exhibition of the couple's art works. The natural wood ceiling and stone floor frame the entire panoramic view of Vaca Brava. The landscaping developed throughout the apartment blends in with the treetops of the park, creating a perfect harmony between nature and architecture. All environments are filled with art. Paintings, sculptures, and furniture reflect the residents' personality in a subtle and delicate way, which, combined with the interior design project, becomes poetic and theatrical. Works by regional artists like Antônio Poteiro and Siron Franco, in addition to Brazilian furniture from the 50s and 60s, bring a unique coziness to those who enter the apartment. The library is one of the protagonists of the "house". A book collector, the owner requested in his program a library capable of storing his entire collection. The space has 180m² of area, with a custom carpentry project developed to store and display books, sculptures, paintings, and other art pieces. Due to the point load of the books, a reinforcement project was necessary in the slab structure, paid for by the owner. The library has a main access through the apartment's social area and a hidden access through the master suite's closet. The environment contains a meeting table, office space for the owner, and a complete home theater, with furniture and high-quality sound system. The execution of this library represented a challenge for the building's engineering team. Due to the point load of the books, a structural reinforcement project was necessary throughout the area that encompasses the library. The project balances the beauty of the building's structure, the artistic atmosphere of the owners, and nature in such a harmonious way that it creates a green living space, with a landscaping project signed by Florentino Paisagismo. The connection between the greenery of the plants inside the apartment, with the treetops of the Vaca Brava park right below with the city as the background.
