SRC | Archventil

The SRC project was born from the request to customize a newly built apartment intended to become a BnB, with the goal of combining functionality, comfort, and a recognizable aesthetic.

The first step was the layout, reinterpreted through a few but precise interventions: the space was reorganized to include a proper entrance area, a living room with integrated kitchen, and a sleeping area that is separated yet conceptually connected.

The central partition plays a key role, conceived as a multifunctional core: on one side it conceals the bedroom while serving as a support for the TV, while on the other it keeps the side passages free, which can be closed with light curtains if privacy is required.

The kitchen and living area interact through a single compositional block, formed by the sofa and the counter, which doubles as a dining surface and worktop. This solution optimizes the available space and enhances the apartment’s contemporary feel.

The style of the apartment is fresh and sophisticated, built around a palette alternating dusty blue and terracotta tones, balanced by the material warmth of the herringbone parquet by Aliparquet and the essential volumes of custom furniture. The kitchen, by Binova, features sleek satin-finished surfaces that converse with the soft textures of the sofa and the essential geometries of the complements.

In the bedroom, a scenographic Fornasetti wallpaper introduces a narrative element with architectural patterns and figures that add both depth and character. The bathroom plays with contrasts: a veined marble countertop for the washbasin, white ceramics, and terracotta tiles by Iris Ceramiche, completed by Gessi faucets and Flaminia sanitary ware, creating a warm yet elegant atmosphere.

Lighting focuses on iconic, functional pieces such as the Tolomeo wall lamp by Artemide, while in the living room an artwork by Sanda Skujina enriches the TV cabinet, adding an artistic and unique touch.

The result is a compact, functional, and welcoming apartment that interprets the contemporary spirit of the urban BnB with a design language attentive to detail and to the needs of those who will inhabit it.

Il progetto SRC nasce dalla richiesta di personalizzare un appartamento di nuova costruzione destinato a diventare un BnB, con l’obiettivo di unire funzionalità, comfort e un’estetica riconoscibile.

L’intervento ha riguardato innanzitutto il layout: attraverso minimi ma mirati accorgimenti, lo spazio è stato reinterpretato per creare una vera e propria area ingresso, un living con cucina integrata e una zona notte separata ma concettualmente connessa.

Elemento chiave del progetto è il setto centrale, pensato come fulcro multifunzionale: da un lato nasconde la camera da letto e diventa supporto per la TV, dall’altro mantiene i passaggi laterali liberi, che possono essere chiusi con tende leggere a seconda delle esigenze di privacy.

La cucina e il soggiorno dialogano grazie a un unico blocco compositivo, formato dal divano e dal bancone che funge da piano d’appoggio e da tavolo da pranzo, ottimizzando gli spazi in chiave contemporanea.

Lo stile scelto per l’appartamento è fresco e sofisticato, con una palette che alterna toni azzurro polvere e terracotta, in equilibrio con la matericità del legno posato a spina di pesce e con i volumi minimali degli arredi su misura. Le superfici lisce e compatte della cucina, in finitura satinata, dialogano con le texture morbide del divano e con le geometrie essenziali dei complementi.

Nella camera da letto, una carta da parati scenografica introduce un elemento narrativo, con pattern architettonici e figure che aggiungono profondità e carattere. Il bagno, invece, gioca sui contrasti tra il marmo venato del piano lavabo, la ceramica bianca e le pareti rivestite con piastrelle in terracotta, creando un ambiente caldo e al tempo stesso elegante.

Il risultato è un appartamento compatto, funzionale e accogliente, che interpreta lo spirito contemporaneo del BnB urbano con un linguaggio di design attento ai dettagli e alle esigenze di chi lo vivrà.
