MAIN COMPONENTS OF THE PROGRAM

The Les Fabriques school complex comprises a preschool and an elementary school, each with its own reception areas, hallways and circulation areas, and well-lit and ventilated classrooms. The playgrounds and educational gardens are arranged in tiers, from the ground floor to the roof, providing learning and play areas at every scale.

A sports area, including a half-court basketball area and a children’s running track, was added to the roof at the request of the City of Marseille. Additional outdoor spaces (outdoor classrooms, an open-air theater, and gardens) enrich the initial program and promote diverse teaching practices while strengthening the school’s connection with the outdoors.
