Casa Fantasia

Casa Fantasia is a residential project in Milan by David/Nicolas, reimagining an apartment originally conceived by Gio Ponti as a contemporary space of imagination and experimentation.
Developed through extensive archival research and close collaboration with the client, the project transforms the apartment into a living dialogue across time. Guided by the original spatial logic of the house, David/Nicolas reconstructed lost proportions, reinterpreted materials, and translated visual narratives into architectural elements, creating a space that respects heritage while asserting a contemporary identity.

Rather than a restoration, Casa Fantasia is a reinterpretation, exploring how architecture can remain alive through transformation and how distinct creative voices can merge across generations to produce a harmonious and meaningful space.
