Elevated above the streets of Barcelona, this renovated penthouse transforms a previously fragmented layout into a home defined by openness, continuity, and light. The intervention places the terrace at the center of the spatial experience, allowing living spaces to unfold toward it in a natural, continuous flow that dissolves the boundary between interior and exterior. All suspended ceilings were removed to recover the original height of the penthouse, restoring clarity and lightness to the interior volume. They now appear only where technically required, discreetly integrating climate control, ventilation, and indirect lighting and allowing air and light to move freely through the space. Guided by precision and restraint, the new layout refines proportions, clarifies circulation, and brings order to the spatial sequence. Natural materials and neutral tones introduce warmth and calm, shaping an atmosphere for a slower, more measured everyday life. The result is a penthouse that rises above the intensity of Barcelona while remaining deeply connected to it. It is a continuous living environment defined by proportion, material, and light.

Elevado sobre las calles de Barcelona, este ático renovado transforma una distribución antes fragmentada en un hogar definido por la apertura, la continuidad y la luz. La intervención sitúa la terraza en el centro de la experiencia espacial, permitiendo que las estancias se desplieguen hacia ella en un flujo natural y continuo que diluye el límite entre interior y exterior. Se retiraron todos los falsos techos para recuperar la altura original del ático, devolviendo claridad y ligereza al volumen interior. Ahora solo aparecen donde la técnica lo exige, integrando de forma discreta la climatización, la ventilación y la luz indirecta y permitiendo que el aire y la luz recorran libremente la vivienda. Guiada por la precisión y la contención, la nueva distribución afina proporciones, ordena circulaciones y aporta claridad a la secuencia espacial. Materiales naturales y tonos neutros introducen calidez y serenidad, construyendo una atmósfera para una vida cotidiana más pausada. El resultado es un ático que se eleva sobre la intensidad de Barcelona y, a la vez, permanece profundamente conectado a ella.
