Tourville | Studio Patrick Martins

Located in the heart of Paris’s 7th arrondissement, this 85 sqm apartment is conceived as a calm retreat where Haussmannian elegance meets contemporary design. Designed to provide a refined yet welcoming family setting, every detail has been carefully considered to create an atmosphere that is both sophisticated and serene.

The living room, the focal point of the apartment, opens onto an unobstructed view of the École Militaire. At the center of this light-filled space, a Breccia marble fireplace is framed by two bespoke bookcases. Noble materials such as walnut and marble lend the interior a restrained warmth, blending tradition and modernity with balance and precision.

A continuous balcony extends the living area, flooding the space with natural light throughout the day. As a true extension of the interior, it opens generously to the exterior, enhancing the sense of openness, lightness, and freedom.

The kitchen, discreetly concealed behind an integrated door, was designed to optimize both space and functionality. The combination of natural oak and lacquered wood in the bespoke cabinetry introduces a contemporary and inviting character while maintaining an elegant sobriety.

From the light-filled entrance, one reaches the master suite, conceived as a true cocoon of calm. Walnut and oak finishes create a warm and refined atmosphere. The en-suite bathroom, featuring terrazzo flooring and deep blue bejmat tiles, conveys a raw yet intense materiality.

Opposite, the guest bedroom is defined by its understated character. Its bathroom, clad in terrazzo and bejmat tiles in beige and ochre tones, brings warmth to the space while maintaining a subtle, restrained elegance.

This project offers a contemporary reinterpretation of Parisian living, combining modern comfort with timeless elegance. Each space is designed to invite tranquility while celebrating the refined aesthetic of the place.
