Located in Barbizon, immersed in the forest of Fontainebleau, this house results from the transformation of an existing structure, complemented by two timber-frame extensions. Our approach was to place the architecture in full resonance with nature. The project engages in a dialogue with the forest through a sober, fragmented composition, attentive to scale, light, and views. Volumes, façades, interior architecture, and bespoke furniture share a unified language, conceived as a continuity between the built form and its environment, creating a dwelling deeply anchored in its site.

Située à Barbizon, en immersion totale dans la forêt de Fontainebleau, cette maison est issue de la transformation d’un bâti existant, complétée par deux extensions en ossature bois. Notre parti pris a été de placer l’architecture en pleine résonance avec la nature. Le projet dialogue avec la forêt par une écriture sobre et fragmentée, attentive aux échelles, à la lumière et aux vues. Les volumes, les façades, l’architecture intérieure et le dessin du mobilier participent d’un même langage, pensé comme une continuité entre le bâti et son environnement, pour créer une habitation profondément ancrée dans son site.
