In the very heart of Bilbao la Vieja, across from the Ribera Market and overlooking the San Antón Bridge, Tabula Studio has completed one of those full renovations in Bilbao that blends functionality, character, and history.

This project involved a 25 m² apartment on the seventh floor, featuring a terrace with views of Miribilla. The challenge: to make the most of the space without sacrificing design or comfort. The result is an open-plan space that brings together the kitchen, dining area, and living room, as well as an integrated double bed with an en-suite bathroom and built-in shower.

This small urban retreat was once the home of Josu, founder of Discos Oxford and a beloved figure in the neighborhood. The project preserves his essence, transforming the space without erasing its identity. Rather than inventing, we evoke.

The kitchen is by Logos Scoop, for which Tabula Studio is an official supplier. Storage furniture by the Italian brand Zalf fits seamlessly into the space. The countertops, both in the kitchen and bathroom, are by RMC, a Portuguese company specializing in marble and recycled materials. Thoughtful details such as a Kartell side table and a painting by local artist Iñaki Bilbao complete the design.

This project is a clear example of Tabula Studio’s approach to renovations in Bilbao: functional design, attention to detail, quality materials, and a unique sensitivity to the history of each place.
