The project involves the adaptive reuse of a stratified historic building in central Milan, where past alterations are preserved and integrated rather than removed. Designed for a hi-tech brand, the intervention follows a human-centred approach, shaping spaces around working habits, team relationships, and internal flows while respecting the existing morphology.

New elements — primarily wood, laminated finishes, and semi-transparent polycarbonate with integrated LED lighting — create a contemporary layer that dialogues with the historic fabric. Flexible meeting areas and a central demo room support collaboration and digital connectivity.

The result is a layered, functional, and respectful interior where heritage and innovation coexist, demonstrating how adaptive reuse can transform existing conditions into a coherent and contemporary workspace.
