The project stems from the meeting between the architect’s contemporary design language and the classic identity of the Cipriani universe, giving shape to a modern classic conceived to endure over time. Set within a historic Milanese building, the intervention continues the architectural narrative of the structure into the interiors, establishing a natural dialogue between the domestic space and the urban context.

The home is organized around a large, fluid living area where kitchen, dining and living spaces visually connect, while the sleeping area is conceived as a contemporary suite, intimate and flexible. The project is defined by a material balance between travertine, glossy mahogany an iconic element of the Cipriani universe and black iron.

At the center of the living space, a sculptural fireplace that wraps around a structural column becomes the element that both separates and connects the main areas. Natural light, amplified by reflective surfaces and a through-layout, contributes to creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere, where bespoke furnishings, artworks and materials designed to age well over time define a coherent and contemporary project.

"The project combines a contemporary design language with materials and details inspired by Art Deco and the aesthetics of the 1970s. This dialogue between eras creates a balance that feels both modern and timeless, allowing the architecture to remain relevant well into the future".
