senzaFINE, beyond space limits | Simone Micheli Architectural Hero

Space as an emotional tension, in constant transformation, capable of transcending physical, perceptual, cultural, and multidisciplinary boundaries. This is the concept behind “senzaFINE, beyond space limits,” the installation by Simone Micheli Architectural Hero that evocatively and experientially explores two projects designed by Simone Micheli currently under development in Dubai. On one hand, the 30,000-square-meter Hubai Aparthotel in Jumeirah Village Circle, a dynamic architectural entity conceived as an ecosystem of contemporary living; on the other, the 740-square-meter Sensoria Tower Penthouse in Jumeirah Beach, a residential statement suspended between sky and sea. These works were conceived for visionary clients capable of recognizing architecture not as an object, but as a cultural, emotional, and human instrument, projected toward the future. Describing them in their spectacular detail are videos housed within a dynamic, enveloping structure that invites visitors to enter, walk through, and linger. It consists of a circular structure (6.50 x h.10.50 m) made of 48.3 mm diameter steel tubing, marked by modular rhythms, transparencies, and spiral rings. At the center, on a photovoltaic glass floor, stands a monolith (1.60 x 2.60 x 4 m h.) clad in steel coils printed with custom graphics, which integrates two video walls dedicated to narrating the two Dubai projects. The installation is completed by lighting effects, sounds, and large painted Plexiglas spheres that enliven the floor. The message SenzaFINE intends to convey is both an invitation and a promise: to inhabit the limit in order to discover that the limit does not exist.

Lo spazio come tensione emotiva, in continua trasformazione, capace di superare i confini fisici, percettivi, culturali e multidisciplinari. Questo il concept di senzaFINE, beyond space limits, l’installazione di Simone Micheli Architectural Hero che racconta in maniera evocativa ed esperienziale due progetti firmati da Simone Micheli in sviluppo a Dubai. Da un lato Hubai – Aparthotel di 30.000 metri quadrati a Jumeirah Village Circle, organismo architettonico dinamico, pensato come ecosistema dell’abitare contemporaneo; dall’altro Sensoria Tower - Penthouse di 740 metri quadrati a Jumeirah Beach, manifesto residenziale sospeso tra cielo e mare. Opere pensate per committenti visionari capaci di riconoscere nell’architettura non un oggetto, ma uno strumento culturale, emotivo e umano, proiettato verso il futuro.

A descriverle nei loro scenografici dettagli sono i video custoditi all’interno di un organismo dinamico e avvolgente che invita il visitatore a entrare, attraversare e sostare. È costituito da una struttura circolare (6.50 x h.10.50 m) in tubolare d’acciaio del diametro di 48,3 mm scandita da ritmi modulari, trasparenze e anelli spiraliformi. Al centro, su una pavimentazione fotovoltaica in vetro, si erge un monolite (1.60 x 2.60 x 4 m h.) rivestito in coils d’acciaio stampati con grafica personalizzata, che integra due videowall dedicati alla narrazione dei due progetti di Dubai. L’installazione è completata da giochi illuminotecnici, suoni e grandi sfere in plexiglass verniciato che movimentano il suolo. Il messaggio che SenzaFINE intende trasmettere è invito e promessa: abitare il limite per scoprire che il limite non esiste.
