Casa Ascendente | TETRO Arquitetura

The Ascendente House was conceived from a reading of the voids between existing trees, adopting an approach of careful insertion and preservation. Its massing is organized in levels that follow the site, establishing a clear hierarchy between social, private, and service areas, while keeping the house continuously connected to the garden and vegetation.

The main entry occurs at ground level, where living room and kitchen form a single integrated space. This area works as the core of circulation and daily life, with openings oriented toward the interior of the lot, encouraging filtered views, cross-ventilation, and a direct relationship with the landscape design. Also on this level, two guest suites are accessed from a covered outdoor veranda, creating a semi-open route that reinforces a gradual transition between exterior and interior and grants independence to the rooms.

Vertical circulation is resolved through a stair-ramp, conceived as an architectural element that links the levels and gives form to the program’s “ascent”.

Along this path, the main suite is reached, set on an upper elevation and oriented toward the rear of the site, where the view becomes broader and less obstructed. Bedroom, terrace, and bathroom form a single composition facing the landscape, with openings sized to favor natural light and framed vistas.

On the front façade, a mashrabiya acts as a second skin: it controls sunlight, ensures privacy, and unifies the reading of the volume, while still allowing ventilation and diffuse light. On the lower level, beneath the guest suites, the garage and service areas are concentrated, freeing the main spaces for contact with the garden. The pool is set within a clearing on the site, connected by a deck slightly lower than the ground floor, shaping an outdoor living area sheltered by the tree canopy. The project seeks a balance between environmental performance, privacy, and spatial continuity, making nature not a backdrop, but part of the architecture itself.

A Casa Ascendente foi implantada a partir da leitura dos vazios entre as árvores existentes, adotando uma estratégia de ocupação por encaixe e preservação. A volumetria se organiza em níveis que acompanham o terreno e definem uma hierarquia clara entre áreas sociais, íntimas e de apoio, mantendo a casa permanentemente ligada ao jardim e à vegetação.

O acesso principal acontece no térreo, onde sala e cozinha se configuram como um único espaço integrado. Esse ambiente funciona como núcleo de distribuição e permanência, com aberturas orientadas para o interior do lote, favorecendo vistas filtradas, ventilação cruzada e uma relação direta com o paisagismo. Ainda nesse nível, duas suítes de hóspedes são acessadas por uma varanda externa coberta, criando um percurso semiaberto que reforça a transição gradual entre exterior e interior e garante autonomia aos quartos.

A circulação vertical é resolvida por uma escada-rampa, concebida como elemento arquitetônico que articula os níveis e produz a “ascensão” do programa. Por esse percurso, chega-se à suíte principal, posicionada em cota superior e voltada para os fundos do terreno, onde a vista se apresenta com maior amplitude e menor interferência. Quarto, terraço e banho compõem um conjunto orientado para a paisagem, com aberturas dimensionadas para privilegiar iluminação natural e enquadramentos.

Na fachada frontal, um muxarabi atua como segunda pele: controla insolação, garante privacidade e unifica a leitura do volume, ao mesmo tempo em que permite ventilação e luz difusa. No pavimento inferior, abaixo do nível das suítes de hóspedes, concentram-se garagem e área de serviço, liberando os espaços principais para o contato com o jardim. A piscina se posiciona em uma clareira do terreno, articulada por um deck ligeiramente rebaixado em relação ao térreo, conformando uma área externa de permanência protegida pela massa arbórea. O conjunto busca equilíbrio entre desempenho ambiental, privacidade e continuidade espacial, fazendo da natureza não um cenário, mas parte da própria arquitetura.
