Concept
“The Invisible” was conceived to reveal what usually remains hidden within bathroom architecture: plumbing systems, technical routes, and the infrastructure that makes the space function.

The proposal replaces the traditional partition wall with a lightweight structure composed of industrial polymer pipes, transforming a purely technical element into an architectural and spatial language. The installation is no longer concealed; instead, it becomes the protagonist, exposing the beauty of essential systems and highlighting the intelligence behind what lies within the walls.

The project creates an immersive environment where technology, water, and architecture engage in dialogue through material honesty and the visible expression of construction systems.

Spatial Design
The space is organized as a permeable and lightweight architecture. The network of pipes forms a structural lattice that filters views, light, and air, generating depth and a continuous sense of transparency.

The geometric repetition of technical elements creates a visual rhythm that transforms water distribution into an aesthetic resource. Visitors move through an environment where installations, traditionally hidden from view, become an active part of the spatial experience.

Geberit’s bathroom solutions are integrated as the visible culmination of this hidden system: products that emerge in front of the technical framework and demonstrate the relationship between innovation, wellbeing, and functionality.

Materiality
The intervention is based on a neutral and tactile material palette that emphasizes the lightness of the installation and the clarity of its concept.

Industrial polymer pipes become the project’s main constructive and expressive element, providing rhythm, texture, and transparency. The continuous sintered stone flooring by Neolith enhances luminosity and creates a calm and silent atmosphere. Hisbalit’s glass mosaic introduces a tactile and organic counterpoint to the wet areas, reinforcing the relationship between water, reflection, and materiality.

Integrated lighting solutions by Simon enhance the technical reading of the space and intensify the perception of depth within the tubular structure. Textiles and soft elements by Genix Home introduce warmth and a domestic dimension into the visitor experience.

Sustainability
“The Invisible” was conceived under principles of circular economy and efficient disassembly. The construction system uses dry assembly techniques, avoiding adhesives and irreversible processes, allowing materials to be dismantled and reused after the exhibition.

The use of 100% recyclable plastics and demountable systems reduces waste and minimizes the carbon footprint associated with temporary installations. The project advocates for a more conscious architecture in which technical innovation and sustainability become part of the same narrative.
