ANALYSIS
CURRENT STATE
 Located on the first floor of a 145 sqm flat in a newly built residential complex in San Lazzaro, an exclusive municipality in Bologna. The flat has a large south-facing living room area with balconies overlooking the park, a large bedroom with an en-suite bathroom and balcony also facing south, two small west-facing bedrooms for the two girls with balconies, a bathroom, and a storage room.
CLIENT
REQUIREMENTS
The clients are a young professional couple with two little girls. They requested an elegant and cozy interior with ample storage to keep the house tidy. The only fixed request was a kitchen with an island. They relied on our expertise for the rest.

PROJECT
SOLUTIONS
Our design approach aimed to create an elegant yet youthful interior that reflects the identity of the family. We chose neutral colors and materials. To emphasize circulation areas, we inserted a matte black profile in the floor and aligned it with a lowered false ceiling. This design language was applied throughout the house.

We designed and custom-made large wardrobes and furniture components, including a coat wardrobe at the entrance that transitions into a bookshelf leading to the kitchen. The kitchen itself is a true centerpiece, featuring the requested island.

The TV cabinet was designed to match the living area’s aesthetics. The bedroom’s focal point is highlighted by a continuous black line in the flooring, leading to a designer lamp defining a small study corner. The minimalistic bedroom includes full-height wardrobes, centralised systems, and a cinema-effect projector.

The private bathroom features custom-made furniture, refined materials, and a luxury shower with four spa-style sources, including aromatherapy lighting. The children’s rooms, though small, were meticulously designed for maximum comfort, with play areas, well-organized wardrobes, and a study area optimized for natural light. The girls’ bathroom is chic, with a pink light option and custom-made pieces, including a large shower with a product niche and capacious cabinets hidden above the sanitary ware.
