Located in Madrid, this university residence reinterprets student housing through a contemporary architectural language defined by texture, light, and urban presence. The building's distinctive faceted façade creates a dynamic interplay of shadows throughout the day, giving the volume a constantly evolving character while establishing a strong identity within the neighborhood.

The design balances openness and privacy through a carefully articulated envelope. Vertical window openings provide generous natural light to the residential spaces while reinforcing the rhythmic composition of the façade. The sculpted surface introduces depth and scale, transforming the building into a landmark that engages both residents and the surrounding city.

At street level, a transparent glazed base activates the public realm, revealing communal areas and encouraging interaction between students and the urban environment. Shared spaces, study lounges, and social areas foster a vibrant residential community, supporting both academic life and everyday wellbeing.

The project combines functionality, sustainability, and architectural expression, creating a contemporary living environment tailored to the needs of a new generation of students.
