SR Houses Opens Bookings for Its First Mediterranean Retreat on Paros, Greece
A design-led hideaway rethinking the idea of home.

SR Houses, the hospitality concept created by Vienna- and Los Angeles-based design studio SR Studio, officially announces the opening of bookings for its first Mediterranean property: SR House Paros.

Nestled within the landscape of the Cycladic island of Paros, the newly completed retreat marks the beginning of a growing collection of design-led homes created to offer more than just a place to stay.

Built as a traditional subterranean stone villa overlooking the Aegean Sea, SR House Paros blends contemporary design with local architectural principles. The 220-square-metre residence accommodates up to eight guests across three ensuite bedrooms and a separate restored shepherd's den.

Every aspect of the house has been designed with intention: natural materials, handcrafted details, linen textiles, indoor and outdoor showers, carefully curated furnishings and a seamless connection between interior and landscape. Large communal spaces—including a marble kitchen equipped with Gaggenau appliances, generous dining areas and expansive outdoor terraces—encourage slow living, shared meals and meaningful moments.

The house also features a private pool, curated selection of Greek organic wines, daily concierge service and panoramic views across the sea and surrounding landscape.
SR Houses was conceived as a new hospitality model by Studio Riebenbauer, an internationally recognised branding and design studio with offices in Vienna and Los Angeles. Rather than creating conventional vacation rentals, SR Houses aims to build a collection of homes designed to leave a lasting impression on their guests.
