Mag | Atelierzero

This expansive apartment, located in the center of Milan, was originally formed by merging two adjacent units, resulting in a residence of great character and potential. 
Renovated years ago according to the stylistic trends of the time, with colors, materials, and finishes reflecting that era, it now required an update to refresh the spaces and bring a more contemporary touch while preserving the charm of old Milan.

Without drastically altering the original structure, the spaces were rationalized to create a more orderly and easily navigable sequence of rooms.
The organization of the rooms was enhanced by a generous circulation area that connects the various spaces, unified by a continuous terrazzo floor, a nod to Milanese tradition. 

Each room, immersive and welcoming, was designed to engage with the historical context of the apartment, offering a sense of balance between the past and the present.
