JCB House | Suite Arquitetos

Located in São Paulo, JCB House is a single-family residence designed by SUITE based on a precise and silent premise: to create an architecture that presents itself in its most essential form, so that life happens naturally. The project starts from the interplay between solids and voids to organize integrated spaces that challenge the boundaries between interior and exterior, offering the family a functional, welcoming home open to different ways of living.

In the living room, the program is organized around the connection between the entrance garden and the internal garden. Generous openings allow light and landscape to compose alongside the architecture in a constant dialogue between the essential and the act of inhabiting. The spiral staircase traverses the environments with lightness, articulating the living room, the outdoor area, and the upper floor in a fluid and coherent path that reinforces the integrative vocation of the layout.

Materiality defines the project's identity. Concrete, stone, wood, and corten steel compose a neutral and durable base, designed to traverse time naturally. Wood, present in almost all environments, provides warmth and coziness to the ensemble. In the outdoor areas, stones establish continuity with the landscape, enhancing the sense of belonging between
architecture and garden. The layering of weaves and textures deepens the atmosphere without sacrificing the clarity of lines that guides the project.

With a neutral architectural base and finishes, the furniture takes a central role in constructing the home's atmosphere. The pieces were chosen to translate comfort and functionality, balancing daily life and permanence. Between soft tones and welcoming textures, the interior reveals a timeless character with pops of color and personality that make the space a home.
Notably, the Entrelaço coffee table, a creation by SUITE Design, reinterprets silk straw threads through the concept of upcycling: the threads, which would have been discarded, are reconstituted and manually interwoven over wooden frames, creating unique patterns that celebrate craftsmanship and the beauty born from reuse.

On the upper floor, the TV room and the office share the same space, united by the continuity of materials that run through the project. The large wooden bookshelf organizes and adapts the environment to the different dynamics of daily life, while the mix of fabrics and textures creates a more welcoming and private atmosphere. Material continuity and chromatic neutrality build, in the intimate spaces, a place of pause and retreat.

The gourmet area and the garden form a continuous backdrop for meetings, where the pace of the house meets the outdoor vegetation. The comfort of the interior extends outside in a path that invites conviviality, but also silence and pause. JCB House synthesizes SUITE's vision for
contemporary living: an architecture where integration, light, and matter build a fluid, coherent experience aligned with the lives of those who occupy it.
