The core of this home’s interior concept is the surrounding nature. The ground floor is almost entirely glazed, allowing the landscape to flow inside through expansive windows, while inner courtyards make nature part of everyday life.
The interior coexists with nature through form, color, and materiality. A calm palette is paired with strong forms softened by rounded lines. Rough and gentle materials as natural oak, stone, concrete, metal, clay plaster, and textured rugs - shape the atmosphere, complemented by indirect lighting and shifting daylight.
On the second floor, tall transoms and skylights enhance the sense of openness. Integrated wall cabinetry keeps spaces uncluttered. The main bedroom faces the forest, with a sculptural wardrobe forming a partition. In the bathroom, a centrally placed washbasin is oriented toward the landscape. Children’s rooms feature simple raised sleeping platforms surrounded by soft wall panels.
Life in this home unfolds in a continuous cycle, shaped by the rhythm of the four seasons.
