After his graduation from the School of Architecture at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in 1986, he travelled to Japan with Japaneese ministerial research funds. Beginning as a (purely) landscape architectural practice, it has developed into a interdisciplinary organisation working with landscape, urban spaces, analysis and urban planning.
