PARATELIER is an interdisciplinary architecture laboratory started by Leonardo Paiella and Monica Ravazzolo in 2007.
Our research and design process are guided by curiosity, desire and response-ability. No-thing is impossible.
There will be always something: body, city, object, building, art work, tree, past, sky, highway, lake, poem, film, park, language, village, door, dog, ruin, border, ticket, future, river, window, square, grasses, book, bridge, forest, car, mountain, airport, garden, walk, shelter, tool, landscape, roof, ocean, wall, light, earth [ … ] PEOPLE and REALITY.
to discover we believe AUTHENTICITY
to design we assimilate time CONTINUITY
to create we think of other DIVERSITY
LIFE is our case-study
Paratelier bases its design research in the conjugation of two complementary disciplinary perspectives: architecture and landscape. The project is intended as a synthesis of a multidisciplinary process resulting from the 'Exchange', a fundamental action for the construction of an idea of space.

Paratelier shared ideas and experiences with arquitects, landscape architects, artists, designers, fotografhers, stylists and family like a GLOBAL Arquitectura Paisagista, Stefano Riva, TERNULLOMELO ARCHITECTS, Pedro Pacheco, Alberto Rizzone, ATELIERMOB, Fernanda Fragateiro, Gilberto Reis, Samuel Alcobia, Lidija Kolovrat, NADA, Leonardo Finotti, and other...
