Founded in 1991 by Stefan Hitthaler, the studio stands out for its design approach based on clarity of processes and linguistic consistency, in which transparency is not only a method but an ethical principle that guides every stage of the design process.
The goal of every project is the desire to create functional, cozy, harmonious spaces that reflect the identity of those who live in them.
From the beginning, the focus on the quality of space and energy sustainability has defined an independent and pioneering trajectory: from the early 1990s, Hitthaler designed some of the first passive houses in Italy, anticipating issues that are now central to the architectural debate.
The works reflect a constant tension between constructive rigour and atmospheric research, and have won numerous awards, including the Südtiroler Architekturpreis, the Urban Sustainability Award and selections for the Oderzo Award.
