FCC Arquitectura

FCC Arquitectura and Paulo Lobo are two studios situated in Oporto Portugal. This work in particular is the result of a partnership and fusion of the ideas of both studios.

FCC architecture developed the reconstruction and the new physical space, while Paulo Lobo took care of the interior design. Both offices are always looking for an iconic image in their works, through the plasticity of forms, and the unique textures of the used materials.

Design philosophy:
The project always takes into account the terrain where it operates, the program, the client, and the feelings we want to create to whom utilizes it.
The inspirations come to us by the terrain where the project will happen, the observation of what surrounds us, sometimes the conditions of the urban plan and when there are, the pre-existences.
All projects are important because they have different scales, which gives us a extensive knowledge and experience.
