SYN Architects

SYN Architects was founded in Beijing in 2015. A comprehensive design agency, the firm encompasses areas of expertise such as architectural planning, architectural design, interior design, cultural and creative design, as well as design construction.

Since the very beginning, SYN Architects has focused its design practice in “a new approach for urban and rural integration through cultural evocation”. In fact, it is the first and most professional design agency specialized in services for the development of pastoral complexes in China. In August 2016, the firm acquired shares from New Pastoralism Oriental Investment Co., Ltd., the company behind the recognized pastoral project established in Yangshan, Wuxi; to further extend the reach of its objectives, implementing a new type of urban and rural integration (in the form of pastoral complexes or featured towns), as the focal point of its business practice.

SYN Architects has actively participated in the design, construction and development of touristic areas, touristic resorts, and cultural tourism projects. Furthermore, “The SYN Architects Community” –an incubation platform for the realization of innovative projects, has been established following the criteria of “a better service for the realization and development of cultural tourism projects” derived from the association of an outstanding group of architects and designers, to provide specialized services focused in pastoral complexes, rural and urban integration projects, as well as cultural tourism. It also focuses on the content implemented after construction, and the actual requirements for product operation.
