Architecture Firm Berlin / Germany

Büro Hacke is a collaborative architecture studio based in Berlin and was established in 2016 by Max Hacke. Our work covers a wide range of sectors from educational buildings for public clients to residential projects and houses for private clients. Further, we engage with cultural projects, research as well as exhibition and furniture design. Current projects include a university building for the Universtity of Braunschweig, a residential development in Berlin and a new kindergarten in Berlin.
Ideally, architecture is a collaborative effort between project partners, clients and consultants in an attempt to formulate an artistic, sustainable and realistic ambition for each project. We are searching for social and collective agendas in our work to create long-term sustainable environments that benefit the individual as much as the wider community and the urban environment at large. For the study pavilion at the Technical University of Braunschweig Max Hacke together with Gustav Düsing has been awarded the EU Mies van der Rohe Prize 2024, the German Architecture Prize 2023 and the DAM Preis 2024.
