BARCELONA · Serboli Bureau officially emerges on the European design scene as a distinctive, independent studio with international ambition and a profound commitment to craftsmanship. Founded in 2023 by Italian architects Margherita Serboli and Andrea Serboli, the studio builds on a decade-long legacy of acclaimed work, including multiple appearances on Spain’s AD100 list as it embarks on a new, highly anticipated creative chapter.
Rooted in a radical, human-centered, and deeply architectural approach, Serboli Bureau defines design not merely as decoration, but as architecture on an intimate, emotive scale. As the founders explain, "Interior design is architecture on an intimate scale, with the human being at the center of every decision. Form must follow emotion."
From its studio in the heart of Barcelona, Serboli Bureau is currently developing a growing portfolio of residential, office, and commercial spaces across Europe, with projects underway in Brussels, Milan, Sicily, Asturias, and the Catalan capital.
All projects share a common thread: a humanistic vision where the design process begins with core architecture and embraces interiors as a direct extension of each space's essence. The studio delivers tailor-made solutions born from a deep analysis of client habits, desires, and needs. This humanistic approach results in interiors that possess a unique narrative, characterized by a playful, refined, and always functional aesthetic that interprets and transforms space rather than imposing upon it.
With over 15 years of experience in renovations and refurbishments, Serboli Bureau (previously as co-founder of CaSA-Colombo and Serboli Architecture) has successfully executed projects across Spain, Italy, Belgium, and Russia, alongside design consultations in the United States and Mexico.
The studio's work has garnered significant international recognition and has been widely featured by leading global publications and design authorities, including Lannoo (Belgium), Gestalten (Germany), AD, Elle Decor, House & Garden, Azure, Living Corriere, Dezeen, Yellowtrace, and Domus, among many others.
Serboli Bureau now steps onto the international stage as a distinctive new voice: European, emotional, and contemporary.
