Around 2007, while studying at the School of Architecture, Design and Urbanism (FADU), University of Buenos Aires, a group of design classmates began developing the idea that would later become Además Arquitectura.
The spirit of Además has always been that of a collaborative practice. Founded by architect Leandro Gallo, the studio operates as a collective in which architects and architecture students continuously participate and contribute to its development.
Today, architects Leandro A. Gallo and M. Florencia F. Speroni form the core of the practice.
