Wendy Saunders

Wendy was born and raised in Bruges, and comes from a family of shoemakers and craftsmen. Her influences are varied, ranging from the nuances of street life in China, or the construction of a well made chair, and often visceral – the smell of leather, the sensation a material evokes, the impression of space both externally and on our mental maps. She graduated with a Masters in Architecture in Ghent, Belgium, and practiced for 10 years in top design offices in Amsterdam, before coming to China i
