Claudio Larcher is a designer, architect, and Director of the Design Area at NABA, Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti in Milan. His research explores the relationship between design, temporary architecture, and urban spaces, through projects that intertwine creativity and functionality, always oriented towards experimentation and dialogue across disciplines. After graduating in Architecture at Politecnico di Milano, he founded his own studio (www.claudiolarcher.com), conceived as a laboratory for research and cultural cross-pollination, where diverse experiences and languages translate into architecture and design. He has curated and participated in exhibitions in Italy, Japan, Spain, France, England, and Sweden. He has been appointed Italian Design Ambassador five times (2017, 2018, 2019, 2024, and 2025), representing Italy in Switzerland, Albania, Uruguay, Spain, and Colombia. He is the author of several publications, including Globetrotting Designers, Design, scuola e solidarietà, Design from the Alps, and Disegnare un cucchiaio per cambiare la città. In 2023, he received the Honorable Mention at the Compasso d’Oro with the project Design from the Alps, confirming a path that intertwines professional practice, academic activity, and cultural commitment.
