Raised with a strong artistic sensibility, after completing classical high school, she enrolled at the Faculty of Architecture at Valle Giulia in Rome. During her academic journey, she spent a year in Seville at the Escuela Técnica de Arquitectura, and later completed her studies at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya in Barcelona, where she had the opportunity to collaborate with Carlos Ferrater’s studio.
After graduation, she was awarded the Leonardo scholarship and lived a year in Vienna, working with Coop Himmelb(l)au, one of the founders of the Deconstructivism. She then moved to Paris to collaborate with Dominique Perrault Architecture, her ‘grand tour’ finally took her to London, where Costanza joined Arup and contributed to significant residential and commercial projects.
In 2018, she returned to Rome and began collaborating with Ilaria Miani, working on the restoration and renovation of important architectural landmarks in Italy, such as Hotel Monteverdi and Badia di Pomaio in Tuscany. In parallel, Costanza has continued to work at her own practice, started in the London years, designing and renovating villas and apartements between London, Rome and Tuscany. In 2021, she officially founded her own studio based in Rome.
Costanza approaches each project as a journey to discover and enhance the essence of the place and the story of its inhabitants. Her method is rooted in the careful analysis of spaces and a meticulous selection of materials, creating projects distinguished by the refined use of color and light. Furniture design plays a central role in her work, where each space is crafted through a unique blend of iconic design pieces, vintage elements sourced from antique markets, artworks, and bespoke furnishings designed by Costanza and brought to life by a network of skilled artisans
