Principal Architect of Xiang Architects, he earned his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Architecture from Southeast University (2005 and 2007) before obtaining a second Master of Architecture from Princeton University in 2009. During his time in the United States, he worked at Safdie Architects from 2009 to 2012. Upon returning to China in 2012, he founded Xiang Architects in Shanghai, a practice through which he continues to cultivate his independent architectural vision.
