HARQUITECTES

HARQUITECTES is an architecture studio established in 2000 and based in Barcelona. It is managed by four partner architects: David Lorente Ibáñez, Josep Ricart Ulldemolins, Xavier Ros Majó and Roger Tudó Galí, who count on an ample team of collaborators, such as architects, interior designers and students. All of them licensed between 1998 and 2000 in the ETSAV, where Josep and Roger teaches in the Department of Architectural Projects and Technology. Xavier also teaches Projects in the ETSA Barcelona. They have also taught nationally and internationally at various universities, such as UIC (Barcelona), LaSalle (Barcelona), Mexico, Sweden. They have been invited also to give lectures nationally and abroad, Portugal, Italy, Slovenia, Mexico, Spain Their works have received many awards, for built works and also in architectural ideas competitions and it have been published in national and international Medias. Awards received include: 1st Prize A+ best sustainable architecture project, Mention on Construmat Award 2013, finalist on Catalonia Social Housing Award 2013, finalist FAD awards 2013, best residential work and best project 1st Prize AJAC Awards to young architects 2012, 1st Prize NAN Awards 2012, 1st Prize Sacyr Innovation Award 2012, 1st Prize Hise Award for innovative excellence 2012, Selection FAD Architecture Awards 2012, 1st Prize Saie Award 2011 the best concrete building (Bologna, Italy), 1st Prize Enor Young Architecture Awards 2011, Selection Green Building Challenge 2011 (Helsinki), Finalist  Arquia/Próxima Award 2010, 1st Prize Sustainable Architecture  5 th Vallés Architecture Biennial 2009, 1st prize 5 th Vallés Architecture Biennial 2009, Finalist FAD Architecture Awards, Selection Wallpaper Architects Directory 2009 (London), Honourable Mention Archi-Bau Awards 2009 (Munich), Selection X Spanish Architecture Biennial, 1st Prize V Prize for Young Architects AJAC 2007 and 1st Prize 7th Vallés Architecture Bienal 2007.
