We are a London based international architectural practice that was founded by South-African born Coetzee Steyn in 2011. Since its inception, our work has been widely published and have received numerous awards. The most recognised to date is the Bosjes Chapel (2017), which steered the studio’s conceptual direction, as well as the more recently completed Garden Café. These works, including projects such as the Oxford Conservatory, explores the emotive strengthening of man’s connection with nature, cultural history and context through the medium of architecture, and also an architecture that seeks to learn from nature and the past, yet looking towards the future.
We are a collaborative studio. We believe design has the power to solve problems, inspire, and improve lives and work hard every day to realise this ambition. We always aim to do this honestly and with the freedom to creatively explore meaningful design solutions. Designs that make a real difference to the end-user and the client; culturally and commercially.
